Beast SG906 MAX 1

Beast SG906 has gained recognition in the drone community for many years because of its affordability and ease of flight. Bearing in mind that this is not a DJI, SG906 MAX 1 is one of the best drones with camera for beginners! There is a reason why DJI is the current market leader in the drone industry with 77% of the US market share. Hobbyists, photographers and filmmakers adore DJI because of their easy to fly drones. However, there are other drone manufacturers that also provide the ability to easily capture shots.

Difference Between SG906 MAX and SG906 MAX 1

Whilst the design is not much different from our previous review of the SG906 MAX, the key difference between the SG906 MAX and the SG906 MAX 1 is the remote control range, which is 3000m on the MAX 1. The SG906 MAX 1 has folded arms of 17.4 × 8.4 x 7cm and weighs 586 grams. When unfolded, it has a size of 8.3 x 25.3 x 7cm.

The standard MAX has a range of 800m, so there is a clear difference in functionality. You can now control your drone when you are further away. The brushless motors in the SG906 MAX 1 gives it a level 6 wind resistance. The remote control is equipped with 5G system, which significantly improves the signal of the SG906 MAX 1.

There is no difference in the battery level, which is still 26 minutes flight time. The other similarities that still exists between both drones are:

• SG906 MAX and MAX 1 have a slot for SD port, allowing you to now save your footage on a Micro SD card (maximum is 32gb).
• Both drones have a brushless motor, making your drone a more powerful one. This also means the SG906 MAXes have a lower noise than the initial iteration of SG906 drone.
• 3-axis gimbal, providing you with clear still images.
• WIFI 4K Camera; making it quite a stable drone to fly.

NOTE: Flight time of any drone is dependent on external factors such as the wind condition.
