Motor Speed Warning Message

The drone industry has come a long way in the last 10 years with advanced  technology and constant firmware updates. One of the benefits of having a DJI drone is that firmware updates are released directly to your device for you to download. These drone updates keep your device secure and free from malfunctions. Unfortunately, complex softwares and hardwares are susceptible to glitches and the DJI Mavic Series is no exception.

HACKED?

Receiving an error message when flying your drone can be quite frustrating. A typical example of such message is "Motor Speed Warning". Before you start to panic, your drone has not been hacked! This is a rare error message for the DJI Mavic Mini, but if encountered, it is usually a simple fix. Most drone pilots experience this when a new firmware update is released from DJI.

SOLUTION

If you have received a "Motor Speed Warning" error message, the simple solution is to replace all the propellers with new ones and the warning message should stop. If the problem persists, please visit the DJI Repair Services  for the next steps. You might be eligible for a free repair if your drone is still under warranty. One of the benefits of buying a DJI drone from us is that it comes with One Year Manufacturer's Warranty.
